Dismantling Joints
Overview
The Dismantling Joints range was developed to provide longitudinal flexibility for the designer and the engineer for the installation of flanged pipeline systems and to provide easy maintenance processes. The Dismantling Joints accommodate up to 100mm longitudinal adjustment and can be locked at the required length with the tie bars supplied. Not only does this system allow for fast, easy maintenance of valves, pumps or meters, it simplifies future pipe work modifications and reduces downtime when changes need to be made.

Customer Benefits
Simplified Pipeline Integration
Enables fast installation and removal of isolation, control, check, non-return, metering, and pressure-reducing valves, as well as pumps and flanged pipe systems.
Optimized Maintenance Efficiency
Reduces downtime and effort by allowing quick adjustments, replacements, and servicing of critical components.
Versatile Engineering Solution
Adaptable for diverse applications such as pumping stations, water and sewage treatment plants, plant rooms, and meter chambers.
Trusted Infrastructure Reliability
Engineered to support demanding operations in utilities and power generation with durability and long-term performance.

Installation Instructions
Flexible Installation Process
The dismantling joint (DJ) is designed for easy positioning between mating flanges, allowing smooth movement of the spool piece within the flange adaptor body.
Secure Flange Connection
Ensures reliable sealing with flange gaskets and bolts, maintaining proper alignment and concentricity of the spool piece for long-term system integrity.
Optional Restraint System
Tie-rods provide additional strength and restraint when required, engineered with precise nut positioning to deliver maximum reliability under pressure.
Engineered Precision & Safety
Installation is completed with controlled torque tightening and re-torque checks, while stainless-steel fasteners require greasing to prevent galling and ensure optimal performance.
