Pipe Couplers

Overview

Straight Couplings are used for joining DI pipes or pipes of different materials but having the same external diameter. GCF coupling comprises a center sleeve located between two end rings. Wedge-shaped elastomeric gaskets separate the sleeve and end rings. As the tie bars are tightened, the end rings are drawn together, compressing the gaskets between the end rings and the center sleeve onto the surface of the pipe to form an effective, leak-proof seal.

Angular Deflection

Angular Deflection

Minor Misalignment Correction

GCF pipe couplers provide angular deflection capability to effectively overcome minor misalignment issues in pipeline installations.

Ground Settlement Compensation

The angular deflection feature allows pipes to adjust and compensate for ground settlement without compromising the integrity of the pipeline system.

Size-Specific Deflection Ranges

Different pipe sizes accommodate varying angular deflection ranges - from ±6° for DN80-DN450 to ±1° for DN2000-DN2600, ensuring optimal performance for each application.

Enhanced Installation Flexibility

he allowable angular deflection provides installers with greater flexibility during pipe laying, reducing the need for additional fittings and simplifying the installation process.

Installation Instructions

Installation Instructions

Precision Pipe Preparation

Pipe ends must be smooth, round, defect-free, and within standard tolerances to ensure optimal coupling performance.

Reliable Sealing Assurance

Select the correct gasket grade for the conveyed medium and maintain concentric alignment of pipe ends.

Efficient Installation Process

Mark pipe ends, position the coupling correctly, and align pipes with proper support for accurate assembly.
